Owners Spiro Alexander and Rick Roder founded the Maywood Pancake House to fill the void in the Maywood downtown area for a casual American eatery.
Their goal to serve up breakfast with a healthier take has taken them on a journey to create a menu with a contemporary catch on the traditional. The menu was designed with today's health conscious consumer in mind. The freshest ingredients are used to make the meticulously prepared meals under the strictest hygienic conditions. The Pancakes are only accompanied with fresh fruit, the corn beef hash is homemade and the burgers are flame broiled 100% certified Angus beef. From the fresh Blueberries for the pancakes to the Maryland crab cake eggs Benedict, diners can expect a distinctive culinary experience. A vegetarian and vegan selection with daily homemade soups, delicious sandwiches and salads is also available.
In addition to their effort to bring quality and value to the Maywood area diners the owners of the Maywood Pancake House have gone green. All take-out containers, bags, coffee cup lids and utensils that are used are biodegradable and compostable. In addition only non-toxic cleaning products are utilized, and recycling guidelines are strictly implemented.
The dining room is beautifully decorated with spacious and comfortable seating. With its contemporary country decor you will feel at home whether you come with family for a meal, with friends for an intimate gathering or lunch with coworkers the Maywood Pancake house will accommodate. You can have your breakfast meeting with clients, meet up with neighbors or grab a meal on the run.
